This has nothing to do with hijacking and stuff. Not serious to that extent. Bluejacking is hitech supplement for making crank calls, sending unsolicited messages etc....Obviously a person who is involved in bluejacking is called a bluejacker and he/she is more likely to be found at crowded places where it is easy to spot victims who have enabled their bluetooth. Now lets get deeper into it.
First lets have a brief idea about bluetooth. Bluetooth technology functions through low power radio waves at a frequency of 2.5GHz(ISM BAND). Any bluetooth device will share this ISM band which is unlicensed and hence it is highly unsafe. They can communicate with each other and transfer data.
Bluejackers have the message itself as their name in the address book. For Example, you are chilling out in the beach and a few distance away you spot someone listening to a song in the mobile phone. If you are a bluejacker you may set the contact under the name "Are the tides strong?" and sending this text via Bluetooth. The receiver will surely be shocked and panic whether he is under surveillance.
